About

For more than 20 years Scott Morgan has been designing custom homes, commercial buildings, and other projects in his home state of Mississippi. The photo galleries on this site represent a cross section of the quality architectural work that he has produced.

Scott grew up in Jackson, Mississippi, studied architecture at Mississippi State University, interned under Ken Tate in Jackson and later under Jim Thomas in Beaufort, South Carolina. He has been a licensed architect in Mississippi since 1991.

His ongoing professional interests center around an architecture that is integrated with town planning, town design and the development of good and authentic public spaces and streets, in a variety of building traditions appropriate to the region.

Scott has come to know that architecture does not stand a chance outside of a good setting, and he encourages his clients to consider how their building projects can enhance the public and private realms by making better outdoor spaces and places.

Traditions and styles are embraced, examined, and blended with each new project, with a bias towards principles, artistry, and innovation over historicism and dogma.

We hope you will enjoy the body of work that is presented here. Contact Scott to discuss your upcoming building or planning project.
